Struggling with Faith
I dont really write much about myself on tumblr but here’s the perfect oppurtunity.
Recently I’ve been struggling with faith and i dont know what’s gotten into me. My devotion to Allah S.W.T and my religion has faded. I feel helpless and useless. For the past 2 weeks, I tried to pray my five dailys prayers but I barely even managed that cutting out Isha and Fajr. I barely even fulfilled the role of a proper muslim, and I didn’t even complete it to the best of my abillity. My prayers would be finished in a matter of time, without any concentration or any knowledge of what I’m praying. Today at night is when it hit me though..without god im nothing. My whole month has been a wreck, and I realised this month was the month i digressed in religion. As I was overlooking my problem I remembered a verse in the quran mentioning : “Verily, with hardship there is relief” (Qur’an 94:6). This helped me realise quite a lot and it helped me realise the importance of dua. Afterall dua is the most cherished, and given thing ( ofcourse quoted by me ). Inshallah, my problems will come to ease and my faith will strenghten again because once again without my faith and my relationship with god, I can accomplish nothing and even If I can its to the minimum of my ability.
